Yolanda Virginia (Mazzuca) Yeon, 83, of Havre passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, of natural causes. A Vigil service will be held to honor Yolanda Sunday, February 1, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 2, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St Jude Catholic Church with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. She was born in Havre on November 20, 1931, to Salvatore and Genevieve Mazzuca of Cosenza, Italy, and grew up in Havre. She attended St. Jude's and Havre High School, then went to work for Mountain Bell in 1950. She married James W. Yeon on December 3, 1960, and raised four children, Jim, Jenee, Renee and Salvatore, whom she adored. Yolanda loved to bake, loved animals, going out for coffee, traveling, and the company of her friends and family. She was a dedicated caregiver to her mom, husband and children. Yolanda was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents and her son Jim. Yolanda is survived by her husband Jim of Havre; her children, Jenee Yeon of Lewiston, Idaho, Renee (Art) Malisani of Great Falls, and Salvatore (Mary) Yeon of Havre; four grandchildren, Genevieve, Gabriella, Bryon and Yolanda; three great-grandchildren, Remington, Ruger and Colt; her brothers, Frank (Judy) and Salvatore "Sam" Mazzuca, all of Omaha, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.
