Obituary

Wyoma Faith Denny, Kah-wi-c-ah-wi-to we mah-t (Plays with the Rainbows), 57, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Friday, October 1, 2021.  Wake services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Denny Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Wyoma was born on January 9, 1964, in Havre to James and Mary Rose (Alexander) Denny, II.  She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school there.  Following her high school years, Wyoma moved to Idaho where she attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, and worked in potato warehouses for many years.  While in Idaho, Wyoma married Sergio Sanchez, and the couple later separated.  She met Eli Stokesberry, and the couple had two children.  Wyoma moved her family back to Rocky Boy in 1996, where she and Eli raised their children.

Wyoma was an incredibly social woman who like to play the machines.  She absolutely loved being around people, especially her family.  She adored Eli, her children, and granddaughter; and spending time with her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews was a constant source of joy to her, especially as her health began to fail.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Rose Denny, II; sister, Coretta Denny; and aunt, Karen Alexander, with whom she was very close.

Wyoma is survived by her children, Dakota and Avenay Faith Denny, both of Rocky Boy; granddaughter, Kayloni Weasel Boy; significant other, Eli Stokesberry of Rocky Boy; siblings, Aaron Alexander of Great Falls, Dexter (Susan) Denny of Fort Hall, ID, Deland (Robin) Denny and Candace Denny, all of Rocky Boy, and Georgina Denny of Fort Hall, ID; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
