Willie Stump, 58, died November 23, 2018 in Spokane, Washington. His wake service will be 12:00 noon., Wednesday, November 28 ^, 2018 with his funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Willie Stump residence. Service and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Willie was born December 17, 1959 in Fort Belknap, Montana to Bill and Theresa (Chapkin) Stump. He was raised in Rocky Boy and attended Box Elder schools. Soon after he found his life long partner and soul mate, Ruby Sutherland. They had four children together and seven grandchildren.

Willie enjoyed and loved singing with the Parker School Jrs. He was very active with the Native American Church and ceremonies. He obtained his G.E.D. at S.C.C. Throughout the years he was a foster parent, archaeologist, fire fighter, Bus Driver and went to Sage Truck Driving School and achieved his type 1 endorsements, owned a video store and a café. His favorite job of all was raising his seven grandchildren. He enjoyed visiting with "the boyz" and he opened his door for everyone, always willing to help anyone and go that extra mile.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Theresa Stump, his brothers William Denny and Monte Stump, and sister Deborah Stump, son-in-law Brian Jones Sr., Danelle (Fudd) Stump, Shannon Morsette.

He is survived by his wife Ruby Sutherland of Rocky Boy; daughter Deana Stump of Rocky Boy; sons, James (Ventura) Stump, KC-Cole (Starr) Stump, and Dallas (Jazzy) Stump all of Rocky Boy. Seven grandchildren; brother Ervinal Denny; and sister Theresa Burgess Stump of Duluth Minnesota.
