William Timothy "Tim" Chagnon, 68, passed away December 20, 2023, at his home of natural causes. Cremation has taken place, and his memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, at the St. Jude Catholic Church with Deacon Timothy Maroney officiating. His burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Tim's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Tim was born July 28, 1955, in Havre, Montana to William and Joyce (Svendsen) Chagnon. Tim attended school in Havre and graduated from Havre High School. He married Becky Hedges April 5, 1975, in Havre at the St. Jude Catholic Church. They had two children, Michelle and Chris. Tim worked as an auto body repair man and later as a truck driver. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed relaxing in the Bear Paw Mountains, fishing, hunting, rock picking and coin collecting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Joyce Chagnon. His brother Michael "Mick" Chagnon, sister-in-law Darla Chagnon and two infant brothers Gregory and Allan.

Tim is survived by his wife Becky Chagnon. Daughter Michelle (Travis) Burchard and son Chris Chagnon. Grandchildren: Kabe, Kobi, and Kyla Burchard; Coye Chagnon. One great granddaughter Kinsley Woods. Two sisters, Julie (Tom) Anderson, and Debbie (Dennis Douglas) Chagnon. Two brothers, Wayne (Ginger) Chagnon and Scott (Linda) Chagnon and several nieces and nephews.
