Wanda Marie Meland, 72, passed away on January 4, 2023, of natural causes.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at
Highland Cemetery.

Wanda was born on October 30, 1950, to Sigurd and Mary (Ulven) Meland. She
grew up north of Havre on the family farm and attended Cottonwood School and
Havre High School, graduating in 1968. She attended Waldorf College in Iowa.
She worked at Yellowstone Boys Ranch in Billings and earned her Masters Degree
in Psychology at Eastern Montana College. She worked as a counselor at Chinook
Schools and Havre Schools until her retirement. She was a member of the First
Lutheran Church.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; aunts, Ruth Morse and Karen
Hinebauch; and uncle, Lloyd Meland.

She is survived by her brother, Gary (Gloria) Meland; niece, Cori (Troy) Meldrum;
nephew, Justin Hofland; great-nieces, Jacie, Jenna, & Jayla Meldrum, and Ashley
& Sierra Hofland; aunt, Edith Gerky, and many cousins and friends.
