Wade Allan Russell, 51, our wonderful father, grandfather, son and brother went to be with our lord in heaven at his home in Havre on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 one day after his favorite day of the year, April Fools. Viewing for Wade will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 11- 4 p.m. at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church with Frank Donato officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship will be held at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church immediately after the service at the graveside. Memorial contributions in Wade's honor may be made to a memorial scholarship in honor of his granddaughter Rebecca Rosette at Bear Paw Credit Union. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Wade was born March 2, 1962 in Miles City, Montana to Gary and Peggy (Becker) Russell. He moved to Havre with his family when he was a young boy where he attended schools. Wade worked as a seismographer and also at Havre Day Activity Center. He went to work for the Railroad in 2001 and retired in 2010 due to his injuries from his motorcycle accident. Wade was a unique individual. He had a great passion for people, always wanting to cheer people up with his funny jokes or just tease them relentlessly. He enjoyed watching his daughter and granddaughter play sports throughout their school years. He would call his family members every day just to make them laugh. He had a compassionate heart and put others before himself. In his healthy years Wade enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing, hunting and going to the Bear Paw Mountains to the White Buffalo water fall or to Hardy Creek in Cascade. He enjoyed his motorcycles; he had a Harley and Indian motorcycle that he enjoyed working on and riding. He was a good mechanic and had ingenious ideas on how to make things work. If you knew Wade you also knew that he was a Denver Broncos fan and that he had a squirrel in his front yard named Elway. This squirrel is the most pampered squirrel, he even had houses made for it and fed it every day. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father Gary Russell, his sister Lisa Stuckey, Uncle Jim Russell, aunts Leone Russell and Harriett McGinness, and his step-father Aaron Utsler. Wade is survived by his daughter Georgie (Dalton Sunchild) Russell and his granddaughter Rebecca Rosette of Havre. His mother Peggy Utsler; Brother Greg (Melissa) Russell all of Havre. Brother Gary (Cathy) Russell of Helena. Sisters: Tara (Stuart Swanson) Brandon and Anjie VandenBos of Havre. Step-daughters; Lesley Poitra of Wyoming and Leslee (Chad) Parker of Box Elder. Nieces: Laci Doney, RayAn VandenBos, Taya Brandon and April Russell. Nephews: Chance Koke, Jarrid Russell, Andrew VandenBos, Jayden Sommerfield, and Ty Swanson. One great nephew, Tarrence Davis
