Linda was born on February 18, 1948, in Fort Belknap, MT, to Bill and Delia Morsette.  She grew up in Rocky Boy, and attended school there.  After high school, she attended Northern Montana College, and began working as a Special Education Teacher at the Rocky Boy School.  Linda began teaching in the mid-1970's and retired in 1991 to help care for her granddaughter Morissa so her baby Melissa could finish school.

"Gramma Linda" enjoyed being outdoors in the summer, sitting on her porch drinking her sun tea, while visiting or talking on the phone with her sister, Vivian.  She loved to listen to her music and dance.  She loved her CDs, doing her crossword puzzles, and browsing through her catalogs.  One of her biggest joys in life was to spend every moment she could with her grandchildren.

Gramma Linda was a very kind-hearted, loving lady.  Her door was always open, and if you needed a place to stay or were hungry, well, everyone knew that Gramma Linda's was the place to go.  She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Delia Morsette; brothers Richard "Moldy" Morsette, William "Sonny Boy" Morsette, and Johnny Morsette; sisters, Cecelia, Rosie, Alice, Geneva, and Josephine; great-grandson, Lorenzo Watson; great-niece, Shannon Morsette; great-nephew, Thomas Bernard; two husbands, Alvin Glen Johnson and Wayne E. Healy; and her two best-friends in life, Evelyn Gopher and Theresa Bacon-Morsette.
