Theresa (Stump) Burgess, 59, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Care Center on Sunday, April 10, 2022.  Wake services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, with Russell Standing Rock officiating.  Burial will follow in the Stump Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Theresa was born to William "Bill" and Theresa (Buffalo) Stump on May 1, 1962.  She attended school at Rocky Boy and later became a homemaker. Theresa was also known as "Digal" to her family. Digal made her home in Minnesota and later came home to be near her family.

Digal was a kind person and cherished her four children and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannie Licht-Morsette; parents, Bill and Theresa Stump; and siblings, William Denny, Monte Stump, Willie Stump, and Debra (Stump) Arkinson.

Digal is survived by her children, Sheila Licht, Dave Licht Jr., and Joseph Bear; brother, Ervinal Denny; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
