Obituary

Theodore "Ted" Hauser, 63, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Saturday, July 26, 2025.  Cremation has taken place, and services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Havre Community Alliance Church.  Burial will be at 2:30 on August 16, 2025, in the Gildford Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Ted was born on August 27, 1961, in Kalispell to Theodore and Carolyn (Hanses) Hauser.  He was raised in Montana, moving to California after high school.  While there, he met Laura Pacheco, and the couple married in 1994, in Burbank, California.  In 2008, they relocated to Gildford, Montana, and moved into Havre last year.  For his entire career, Ted worked as a machinist.

He was a loving father and husband, who was active in his church and shared his faith with his family and friends. Ted's life embodied service to his Lord, Jesus Christ, and he desired everyone to recognize Jesus as such. His love for Jesus and people were very evident in how he spent his free time as he was involved in various different ministries including youth ministry, leading worship at church, and being an active board member at the Hi-Line Pregnancy Resource Center in Havre. When not serving his family or church, you would likely find Ted reading or playing his guitar.

Ted is now free of pain and united with Jesus in heaven for eternity. He understood that apart from God, he can do no good and is deserving of hell. But, by God's mercy and grace, he turned from his selfish desires and lived a life that honors Jesus instead of himself. Romans 10:9 captures provides assurance to where Ted is today, "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Carolyn Hauser, and his brothers, Scott and Brian Hauser.

Ted is survived by his wife, Laura Hauser of Havre; sons, Aiden (Sienna) Hauser of New Franken, WI, and Joseph (Danae) Hauser of Havre; grandchildren, Parker Hauser and Baby Boy Hauser (due later this year); sister, Allyn (Bob) Galland of Greeneville, Tennessee; brothers, Chris (Jenia) Hauser and Chuck Hauser, all of California, and Matt (Naomi) Hauser of Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
