Teresa May Naber, born February 5, 1964, of Gildford, Montana, passed away on December 2, 2020, of natural causes after battling a long illness. She was also known as Tessy and Bobadoo by those who loved her.
She is survived by her husband Chad Naber; children, John Meister, III and Crystal Meister of Havre; father and step-mother, Lee and Lynn Peet of Chester, Montana; sisters, Delores (Donald T. II) Duke of North Pole Alaska, and Debora Peet of Chester, Montana; brother, Anthony "Tony" Peet of Tok, Alaska, and Timothy Peet of Kremlin, Montana; aunts, Delores Sinkevich of Tennessee, Betty La Duke of LeSeur, Minnesota, and Joyce Rolnik of Park Falls, Wisconsin; parents-in-law, Don and Kristy Naber of Havre; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Peet; beloved nephew, Jaden Peet; uncles, Raymond and Ritchie Stout of Minnesota, and Bud and Dean Peet of Wisconsin.
Teresa graduated from North Pole High School in 1982, and worked at Chena Hot Springs Resort before joining the Navy as a tugboat operator, serving from 1986 to 1993. She served in Charleston, South Carolina, during hurricane Hugo, where she committed her life to her Lord. She lived in Seattle from 1993 to 2005 and worked as a professional dog groomer. Her greatest accomplishments are her children, Johnny and Crystal. In 2005, she moved to Gildford, and married Chad in 2012.
Her hobbies and favorite past times were holding babies and her pet ducks, chickens, dogs, and cats. She enjoyed watching wild birds feed outside her home. She loved reading, watching soap operas, and watching various game shows. She loved playing cards and games and doing puzzles.
She was dearly loved and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, please send cards and condolences to P.O. Box 108, Gildford, Montana 59525. Her husband plans on making a donation to Havre Animal Shelter in her honor.
