Tammie Lynn (Azure) Golden, 63, passed away due to natural causes at her residence on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.  Cremation has taken place, and Rosary services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Joseph Tran officiating.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Tammie was born on June 11, 1960, in Havre to Pete and Mary (Akino) Azure.  She was raised in Box Elder, attending school there.  Following her high school graduation, Tammie began working as a CNA.  She met Greg Golden, and the couple had three children together.  They married in 1985.  Tammie continued working at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, Northern Montana Hospital, and Northern Montana Care Center, before moving on to work for Hill County Home Health.  She retired in 2013 due to health problems.

Tammie was a kind, gentle woman who enjoyed making friends; but she had no problem letting you know if you were "stepping wrong".  She enjoyed coloring on her I-Pad and cross stitching in recent years, but when she was younger, she enjoyed camping with her family, traveling with Greg, and socializing around town.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Azure; brother, Leon Azure; sisters, Patricia Halvorson and Lois English; and numerous extended family.

Tammie is survived by her husband, Greg Golden of Box Elder; daughters, Kayla Golden of Box Elder, Danielle Golden of Belgrade, and Nikki Golden of Honolulu, HI; sons, Josh and Troy (Karly) Golden of Missoula; six grandchildren, Dyllan, Landyn, Riley, Addison, Everly, and Brie; sisters, Evelyn Azure of Box Elder, Marlene (Dale) Shulund of Havre, Julie Azure of Fort Lupton, CO, and Teri Fair of Great Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
