Susie J. (Waldner) Kleinsasser, 84, passed away due to natural causes at Benefis Healthcare on Sunday, December 15, 2024.  Wake services will begin on Monday, December 16, 2024, and will continue until her funeral, which will be at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the East End Colony Church.  Burial will follow in the East End Colony Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  Please visit Susie's online memorial page to send a card or leave a message of condolence for her family at www.hollandbonine.com.

Susie was born on November 17, 1940, at Rockport Colony, in Magrath, Alberta, Canada.  She moved to Pendroy, Montana, to the Rockport Colony at the age of 7.  On May 31, 1961, Susie married David Kleinsasser, and together the couple had 9 children. They relocated to Hilldale in 1963, and their final move was to East End in 1977.

Susie was a kind, gentle woman who for 15 years worked as the head cook, and for over 20 years assisted her husband in his duties as the boss.  She was beloved of her friends and family, and worked tirelessly in her other duties in the colony.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, and three sisters.

Susie is survived by her husband, David Kleinsasser of East End; children, Susanna, Reuben, and Mike (Theresa) Kleinsasser, Matilda (Joe) Waldner, all of East End Colony, William (Rebecca) and Phillip (Justina) Kleinsasser, Justina (George) Waldner, of CamRose Colony, and Ida (Abe) Wipf and Lena (Mike) Wipf of Springwater Colony;   numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Waldner of East End; brother, Eli Waldner of CamRose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
