January 20, 1953 – December 5, 2019
Steven James Azure, 66 of Ft. Belknap passed away peacefully after a long illness. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Steven was well loved and adored by his family. He enjoyed spending time with them and teaching his grandson, Cole Pretty Feather Azure the finer points of mechanics on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. After maintenance was finished, Steven and his wife, Patti would tour around Montana taking in the sights and scenery of the road. He truly loved to ride. Steven was also a movie star playing in a mini-series, "Far and Away" and a movie "Son of Morning Star", both filmed in Billings, Montana. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting in and around Ft. Belknap.
Steven was preceded in death by mother; Helen Marie Bell, brother; Robert Azure, Jr., sister; Barbara Ann Azure, nephew; Robbie Lazzari. He is survived by, daughters; Amber Azure, (Charles Werk, III) Mikel Moore, sons; Jeremy Azure (Jenny Denny Azure), Cole Azure and Devon Azure. Brothers; Jack Azure, Pete Azure and Ted Azure. Sisters; Ann Azure Bingham, Mary Azure Dinius, Deb Azure Cuny. Nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
