It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Skylar Blou Parisian, who entered into rest in California. Skylar was born to Leonard Allen Parisian and Teresa Lynn Olson on November 27, 1996, in Havre, Montana. Skylar lived most of his life in Box Elder and later spent time in Poplar, Montana. He was a loving father, son, brother, partner, relative, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many.

Skylar will always be remembered for his bright smile, respectful heart, and the light he carried with him. He was humble, kind, and always willing to help whenever he was asked. He was a protector of his sisters, always carrying a love and loyalty for his family, and his brothers helped keep him grounded throughout his life. His humor, kindness, and unforgettable presence will never be forgotten.

Skylar was a gifted athlete who made a name for himself through his hard work, natural talent, and love for the game of basketball. He played for the Box Elder Bears and later for the Rocky Boy High School Northern Stars, where he became known for his athleticism, offensive ability, and strong left-handed drives to the basket. During his high school career, he was recognized throughout the region for his performances on the court, including a memorable 26-point game during the 2014 District 1B Tournament. He was also part of the 2015 Rocky Boy team that made a strong run at the Class B State Basketball Tournament and helped bring home a third-place finish. Skylar’s athletic talents extended beyond basketball, as he also participated in football and later went on to play basketball at the tribal college level for the Stone Child College Bear Paws.

Skylar loved being surrounded by the people closest to him. He shared a special love with Savannah Stump, his high school sweetheart and the mother of his sons. Savannah gave Skylar two of the greatest gifts of his life, his boys, Leo and Riedon. He was deeply grateful for his sons, and they were his pride and joy. Later in life, Skylar moved to Poplar, Montana, where he formed a meaningful bond with Natasha Youngman. Together, they made the life-changing decision to better their lives and moved to California. The love, memories, and bonds Skylar shared throughout his life will continue to live on through the stories carried by those who knew him.

Skylar was also blessed with the love and care of many families who welcomed him as one of their own. The family would like to lovingly acknowledge Caryn Sangrey, Big Joe and Loranda LaFromboise, and Terrie and Donovan Stump for the special place they held in Skylar’s life and heart.

Skylar is survived by his sons, Leo Sky Don Parisian and Riedon Blou Parisian; his father, Leonard Allen Parisian; his sisters, Monica Collins, Janean Swan, Chassidy (Josh) Parisian, Tasha (Cole) Parisian, and Carrie Parisian; and his brothers, Allen Parisian, Tanner Parisian, Zander Parisian, Delmar Corcoran, and Miles Boxer, Jr. He is also survived by his grandmother, Margaret Olson; his uncles, Emerson Menz and Pete Azure, Sr.; his aunt, Cindy (Jeremiah) Swanson; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.

Skylar was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Olson; his brother, Levi Kyle Olson; his grandparents, Levi Olson, Leoda Oliver, and Leonard Joseph Parisian; his uncles, Levi Olson and Leslie Paul Parisian; and his aunt, Lisa Parisian.

All services for Skylar will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Skylar’s wake will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026. A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. that evening, and Journey Songs and a Memorial Tribute will follow immediately after the Rosary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the Box Elder Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate Skylar’s life, share memories, and send him on his journey with love.

Though our hearts are broken, we will carry Skylar’s smile, laughter, love, and memory with us always.
