HAVRE ~ George "Shane" Brodeur, 53 died October 16, 2011 at the Northern Montana Care Center in Havre from complications due to liver failure. Shane was born November 19, 1957 in Havre to George & Margie (Orr) Brodeur. He attended school in Havre then began a lifetime of work in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator in Montana and throughout the United States. He met Kathleen Ceynar and they later married at the Chapel in the Bear Paws. To this union where born Nicole & Leslie. They later divorced. Shane will be remembered for his devotion to his daughters, his love of camping and his big chocolate lab that would come from behind you a dead run ~ affectionally called "Meat Head". He was a old classic car lover owning several classic vehicles over the years. He loved to hunt and fish, attend Grizzly football games and was an avid NASCAR fan "Go # 3" ! He was preceded in death by his father George David Brodeur; his step-father Victor Orr. Shane is survived by his daughters Nicole Brodeur of Arlee, MT; Leslie Brodeur of GT. Falls, MT; his siblings Shelly Steichen of Portland, OR; Sharon Tiller of Missoula, Kelly Brodeur of Gt. Falls; Jackie Heck of Wildomar, California; Joel Brodeur of Havre; and also by his guardian Angel Mardi Haas of Havre; Memorial services will be 2p.m. Wednesday October 19, 2011 at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Pastor Cleve McSwain presiding. Cremation has taken place and a private committal of ashes will take place at a later date.
