Sara Fox Pierson, 70, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026, at her home

due to natural causes.

Sara was born April 14, 1955, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Norman and

Margaret Fox. Sara graduated and received her degree in nursing from

Northern Montana College, working as a registered nurse for 40 years. Her

most recent position was the nurse for Havre Day Activity Center for the

last 20 years before her retirement. Sara was known by her colleagues for

going above and beyond for her clients and staff.

On September 14, 2006, Sara married Rick Pierson in Havre, Montana.

The two were each other's lifelong companions and friends, and she was

an incredible stepmother to Rick's kids.

Sara's hobbies included spending time with her grandkids, going to church,

shopping for her beautiful jewelry, and playing with her pugs. She was a

devoted wife, mother, sister, and friends, and she always saw the good in

others and was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. Sara

will be deeply missed by friends and family alike.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Margaret Fox.

Sara is survived by her husband, Rick Pierson; stepchildren, Nichole,

Haley, Steve, Ricky, and Mikayla; 8 grandchildren, Ayden, Brady, Sophia,

Ahni, Weston, Maxtyn, Leona, and Jaxx; brothers, Norman and Joe; and

sister, Susan.
