On Saturday, September 14, 2019, Sandra K. Newbury, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 58. Sandra was born on March 28, 1951 in Baudette, MN, to Delbert and Elizabeth (Otto) Chamberlain. She received her LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) degree from Montana State University-Northern, and she provided nursing care for several years in Havre. On July 31, 1992, she married Darrell D. Newbury. They raised their five children together, Will, Dale, Tava, Stephen, and Nancy. They later raised their three grandchildren together, Daryan, Tyres, and Joshua.

Sandra loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and working in her flowerbeds. She loved spending her time outdoors surrounded by her family. She was known for her firecracker attitude, quick wit, joking around with others, infectious laugh, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

She was preceded in death by her father Delbert, brother Larry, and granddaughter Sabrina.

Sandra is survived by her husband Darrell; five children; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother Elizabeth Brown; four siblings; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.
