Ryann S.
Preputin
October 25, 1993 – December 25, 2022
Ryann Stephane Preputin, 29, passed away due to natural causes at her residence on Sunday, December 25, 2022. Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church with Deacon Tim Maroney officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Ryann's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to the Hill County 4-H Foundation, the Epilepsy Foundation Montana (epilepsy.com), or the charity of the donor's choice. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.
Ryann was born on October 25, 1993, in Havre to Chris Preputin and Tracy Schend. She was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 2012. Ryann attended Montana State University-Northern for a short time, and then worked for Custom Collision Repair, training as an estimator. She then went on to work at A Child's Place daycare for several years and then Timbercreek as a caregiver.
Ryann was a vibrant young woman who was immersed in 4-H from the age of 9. She focused her 4-H projects on pigs and photography, winning one blue ribbon and numerous grand or reserve ribbons for her pigs. She spent the past 2 years serving as the Hill County 4-H Swine Superintendent. Ryann spent her early years playing sports, first soccer as a young child and then basketball in junior high. She enjoyed snowmobiling, reading, spending time at the lake cabin, and camping, and had just begun cross-stitching. She was free-spirited, and loved most everyone she met. You could tell, because she always greeted you with a smile that warmed your soul, and her contagious laugh would light up the room. Ryann would go out of her way to help those who needed it, and her capacity for love was surpassed by her desire to help others, even when it took a lot from her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rosalie Preputin, Terry Schend, and Leo Faber.
Ryann is survived by her parents, Chris Preputin and Tracy (Steve) Faber, all of Havre; siblings, Kayla (Ty) Sandru of Silver Star, MT, Dalanie (Chase Smith) Faber of Havre, Savannah (Ty Waggoner) Faber of Stevensville, and Miesha (Cory Mazurkiewicz of Conrad; nephews, Wyatt and Weston Crosslin and Cooper Waggoner; nieces, Braelyn, Hayden, and Laityn Mazurkiewicz; grandparents, Dick Preputin of Conrad, and Barb (Tim Pegar) Schend and Beverly Faber, all of Havre; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
