Ronald "Ronnie" Orrin Anderson was born February 9, 1950, in Havre, Montana to Roy Leonard and Neva Esther (Olson) Anderson. He was raised with his family in the Turner and Blaine County areas attending grade school. His parents passed away when he was a young boy, so he had to move to Havre in 1960 to be near his brothers. He lived at Hillside Trailer Court for many years and later moved to the Highland Park area.
Ronnie knew many people in town. He played guitar at the various bars, he could shine shoes that would sparkle and was known for that talent. Ronnie didn't drive, so he would walk all over town talking to people and visiting others at various establishments. Everyone in Havre has a good Ronnie story. He was a friendly soul who enjoyed people and had friends who would take him to lunch or dinner to visit and catch up. He was a member of the Sunrise Alano Club where he found acceptance and support.
Ronnie became ill with cancer about 5 years ago. They said he wouldn't live a year but made it five!
He was preceded in death by his father Roy in 1954 and his mother Neva in 1958. His four sisters: Martha, Beverly, Judy and Katherine. Three brothers: Roy, Melton and Duane Anderson.
Ronnie is survived by his nephews; Tom, Larry, Mark and Kenny Anderson, one niece, Debbie and four great nephews: Casey, Thomas, Joseph and Cody. Grandchildren; Hazel and Isaac along with their mother Clarissa Sanchez. Several friends and acquaintances in the Blaine and Hill County areas.
