Robert T. Gertson, 91, passed away due to natural causes on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Northern Montana Care Center.  Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Bob was born on September 16, 1932, in Havre to Fred and Viola (Dulton) Gertson.  He was raised in Havre, attending school there.  Bob entered the US Army in 1949, serving until his honorable discharge in 1952, when he returned to Havre.  He worked in construction for many years, and owned and operated Gertson Construction.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Tim and Matt Gertson; parents, Fred and Viola Gertson; and brother, Walter Gertson.

Bob is survived by his son, John Gertson of Havre, and niece Alana Blankenship of Chinook.
