Obituary

Richard was born April 17, 1940 in Minot, North Dakota to Anthony "Tony" and Lillian (O'Meara) Bohn. He was raised in Minot, ND and graduated high school in 1958 from St. Leo's Catholic High School in Minot. He joined the Army after graduation and served in the Military Police at Fort Benjamin at Harrison, IN. Dick married Karen Baker October 24, 1959 in Minot, North Dakota. After completion of his Military Service, the couple relocated to Denver, CO where he began his career as a loan officer with Liberty Loan. In 1963, he was transferred to Havre, MT. From 1965 - 1971 he served as Assistant Vice President at Citizens Bank of Montana. From 1971 - 1986 he was the co/owner of Northern Insurance Agency and started Northern Land and Realty in joint ownership in 1973. He sold his interest in Northern Land and Realty in 1986. He joined Koefod Agency in 1986 and remained with them until his final days. Dick was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast and loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband who shared 52 wonderful years with his high school sweetheart Karen. His children and Grandchildren were the light of his life and he cherished every moment he spent with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Lillian Bohn. His Brother,- Billy Bohn and sister, Patti Evans. Dick is survived by his wife of 52 years Karen Bohn of Havre, Montana. His children, Pam (Greg) Peterson of Everett, Washington; Chuck (Teri) Bohn of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Greg (Carmen) Bohn Billings, Montana and Michelle (Jon) Osman Brookfield, Wisconsin. His grandchildren: Steven (Krystal) Peterson; Mitch Bohn; Jonathan Osman; Michael Osman and CJ Bohn. His brothers: Jim Bohn of Minot, North Dakota and Joe (Janet) Bohn of Marrietta, Georgia. Sisters: Maryann Dickey of Minot, North Dakota; Marilyn Kaemmer of Denver, Colorado; Karen (Don) Lott of Hartselle, Alabama and Beverly Russell of Saraland, Alabama. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
