Renee Jean Denny, whose Indian Name was Mistahikamik Kapit "She Sits in the Big Lodge" 73, joined the beautiful sunset on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the Northern Montana Care Center. Her wake service will begin Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 4 p.m. with her funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024, all at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Dustin Whitford officiating. Burial will follow at the Denny Family Cemetery in Parker School. A memorial feast will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Renee arrived on the early morning sunrise on November 23, 1950, in Great Falls, Montana to David A. and Eunice Ruth (Mitchell) LaMere. She moved with her mother and stepfather living in Great Falls, Butte, and Kellog, Idaho because he worked in the mines. She later moved back to Rocky Boy where she stayed with her sister Sharon and brother-in-law Ervin Watson. She attended Box Elder Schools and obtained her GED. It was in Rocky Boy where she met and married the love of her life, Ervinal Denny Sr. They went on to build their home and family in Parker School, raising four children: Ervinal "Chic" Denny Jr., Shelley, Caroline, and Cori. Renee also helped raise her oldest grandson Gary Lee Ferguson, he was Renee's 6th child.

Renee lived in Parker School her entire life where she shared her home with all the Grandchildren: Gary Lee, Sage Ferguson Sr., Taylor and Lauren Ferguson and Treyton Sutherland Sr., Treyton Sutherland, Jr., Creedance Goodvoice.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Eunice Mitchell Sanchez and David A. LaMere, her eldest son, Kevin James Denny, sisters: Sharon Watson and Norma Plascencia, Brothers: Gary Lamere, Sr., Kenneth Lamere Sr. , Jack LaMere Sr., Grandchildren: Sage Brandon- Lee Ferguson Sr., Sage Brandon-Lee Ferguson Jr. and Waverly Ferguson.
