Rebecca J. Waldner, 82 of East End Colony NE of Havre, died at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre January 18, 2011. She was born April 17, 1928 at the Rock Port Colony in Alberta, Canada to Joseph J. & Rebecca A. (Wipf) Waldner. She married lifelong sweetheart Joseph J. Waldner Sr. in August 1954. Rebecca lived and worked on the East End Colony where she taught Kindergarten for many years and worked with the colony's creamery. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph Waldner in 2009. Rebecca is survived by her sons Joe J. Waldner Jr., Elias Waldner, and John Waldner all of the East End Colony. Her four daughters: Elizabeth Waldner of Pondera Colony near Dupuyer, MT; Rebecca Wipf of Matinsdale Colony near Martinsdale, MT; Sarah Waldner of The East End Colony; Lena Entz of Clover Leaf Colony in Alberta Canada; also by five brothers, 3 sisters and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, noon at the East End Colony with burial to immediately follow at the Colony Cemetery.
