RANDALL "Randy" EDWARD WING, "Yellow Horse - Shunga Zee", age 67, went to be with the Creator on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Northern Montana Hospital.  He was born on February 5, 1955 to the late Kenneth Wing, Sr and Violet "Cliff" Wing.  He was the 4th Eldest of eleven (11) children.  He was born and raised in Lodge Pole, MT, attended grade school in Lodge Pole and went to Flandreau Indian School for a while.

Randy met Ilene Longknife and they were together for 33 years.  From this union he gained a daughter, Terri Jake and two grandchildren, Aryn Grace and Keith, all of whom he loved and raised as his own.

Later in life, Randy met his current wife Patricia Messerly and from this union, he gained four children, Joe, Robert, Jr., Elizabeth and Ella Messerly.  And his grandchildren, Emmikka, Kaydence, Dejon, Jagger Briggs, Shannie.  All of whom he loved very much and raised as his own.

Randy's career started in the mid-1970s as an apprentice carpenter for the Indian Action and Manpower Programs.  From these training programs, he became an excellent carpenter and continued to work in the construction field for many years in various programs including the Fort Belknap Construction Company and the Fort Belknap Housing Authority.

Randy was also an avid Rancher owning several cattle and horses.  He built his own little empire that he was so proud of.  No matter what the weather was like, he was always out there working with his cattle and horses.

Randy served on the Fort Belknap Community Council from December 1997 to December 1999 as the Mountain Assiniboine Representative.  And he served on the Assiniboine Treaty Committee.

The last seven (7) years, Randy was the Head Cook at the Lodge Pole Senior Citizen's Center.  He enjoyed cooking and visiting with family and friends every day.

Randy is survived by his remaining family; Steve (Irene) Wing of Browning, MT; brother, Kenneth (Mona) Wing, Jr., Brian (Eva) Wing, Clyde (Hannah) Wing, Kathy (Ted Bell) Wing, Jackie "Delmar Walker" Wing all of Lodge Pole, MT, Charles (Cecelia) Wing of Warm Springs, OR., Aunt Elmyra Wing and family.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Sr., and Violet Wing, grandparents, Leo and Isabelle Wing, Thomas and Evelyn Cliff, brothers Robert "Beeneferd" Wing and Ronald Wing, nieces, Anna Lee Wing, Coleen Wing, Lynelle and Dynelle Wing; nephews, Derrick Dillon and Kalyle Lee Wells.
