Obituary

Peter "Justin" Lawrence St. Marks, 50, passed away due to natural causes at the Rocky Boy Clinic on Friday, June 9, 2023.  A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, and graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the St. Marks Family Cemetery, all on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.  A reception will follow the graveside service at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Justin was born on March 22, 1973, in Havre to Alvin Caplette and Arleata Jewel St. Marks.  He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending Rocky Boy High School.  After high school, he attended Stone Child College for a couple of years.  He then went on to work as a painter and seamster, but his passion was hairdressing.   He loved it, and often worked for very little just to make someone feel good about how they looked.

Justin enjoyed sewing, visiting friends, hairdressing, drawing, collecting Barbies, and arts and crafts.  He was a very loving uncle, and the children adored him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Caplette and Arleata St. Marks; siblings, Jennifer, Demarise, Crystal, Michael, Wesley, and Blue; aunties, Dorothy, Alison, Carol, and Nancy; uncles, Lornie, John Darryl, and Peter "Whip"; grandfathers, Peter J. St. Marks and John Caplette; grandmothers, Alice Gardipee and Mary Caplette; and members of the following clans, Morsette, Oats, Sunchild, Bernard, LaMere, Houle, Chandler, Hopkins, Striker, Bacon, Parker, Turner, Nault, Belcourt, and Ironmaker.

Justin is survived by his sisters, Alicia, Sarah, Kristie, Cassidy, Courtney, Starr, Sunny, Stephanie, "Chica", Kiara, Rosita, Nadia, Crystal, Monica, Angela, and Angie; brothers, Robert, Cam, Steve, Warren, Anthony, Calvin "CJ", Richie, AJ, Jimmy, Russell, Hummer, Leon, Dakota, Santana, and Ruben; and numerous grandpas, grandmas, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family of the following clans, Morsette, Oats, Sunchild, Bernard, LaMere, Houle, Chandler, Hopkins, Striker, Bacon, Parker, Turner, Nault, Belcourt, and Ironmaker, and friends.
