Perry Vaughn Stump, Spotted Eagle (Pah-Pah-tew- Ki-iw), 31, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at his residence.  Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Denny Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Perry was born on December 2, 1991, in Havre to Robert Stump, Jr. and Candace Denny.  He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school in both Rocky Boy and Box Elder.  In 2008, Perry attended the Montana Youth Challenge, and there he obtained his GED.  He returned home to Rocky Boy, and there he worked as a teacher's aid at HeadStart, a meat processor at the Tyson plant in Oklahoma, and he worked on the crew mapping Rocky Boy.  While working, Perry attended Stone Child College, where he was one semester short of obtaining his degree, and while attending college, he also tutored other students.

Perry was an outgoing man who loved to joke and laugh with friends and family.  He also was incredibly smart, having talked at an early age and he was able to read at the age of 3.  Perry enjoyed Sudoku, acrylic painting, drawing, gaming (especially COD with his brother Davis), working out, and helping others with health and fitness.  Perry was also a kind man with a gentle spirit who loved to help others.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Louise (Windy Boy) Stump, Sr., and James and Mary (Alexander) Denny II.

Perry is survived by his parents, Robert (Ruth) Stump, Jr. and Candace (Tim III) Little Voice, all of Rocky Boy; siblings, Melinda (John Martinez) Stump of Albuquerque, NM, and Davis Denny of Rocky Boy; adopted sisters, Mariah Stump and Sage Red Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
