Patsy "Pat" Joseph Vigliotti, age 83 of Havre, Montana, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, December 31st at Northern Montana Care Center after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10am at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church.

Pat was born on February 13th, 1942, in Cornwall, New York to Anthony and Margaret Vigliotti. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Pat enlisted in the Navy in 1960 and served until 1964. He married Patricia Ann Eichhorn on July 25, 1964, in Scobey, Montana. The New Yorker and the Montanan, who met in the Navy, then moved west to Havre, Montana.

Pat loved baseball, specifically the New York Yankees. He was a baseball umpire in the Minor leagues and spent nearly four decades umpiring American Legion Baseball. The highlight of his career was umpiring the American Legion World Series in 1990. He also loved fishing, camping, dancing and playing fastpitch softball.

Pat and Patty raised their two boys in Havre and Scobey. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patty, and sons Tony (Kathie) and Tim of Havre. He is also survived by his grandchildren Scott (Angela) of Jacksonville, Florida and Sarah Brown (Trey) of Havre and his great grandchildren Kenzi Harwood and Asher Brown, and his sister Marie Caulfield of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Margaret and sister Toni Carpenter.

Pat will be remembered for his hard work, his sense of humor and his love of people, especially children of every age and color.

We'd give our best day just to play catch with you one more time. The game is over but the legacy lives on.
