Obituary

In Loving Memory of Nichole Christina Main

Nichole Christina Main, 40, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on October 21, 2025. She was born on March 25, 1985, in Havre, Montana, to Kellie Cochran and the late Douglas "Tiny" Main.

Nichole was raised with love and care by her grandparents, Theodora "Ola" Cochran and Bobby Lee Cochran, who helped shape her into the strong, kind, and determined woman she became. She attended Wahpeton Indian School, where she built lifelong friendships and carried with her the values of family, loyalty, and hard work that guided her through life.

Nichole was the heart of her family — the one everyone turned to for guidance, support, and love. She was the "brains" behind everything, always the one who kept things together. She worked hard and gave everything she had to make sure her loved ones were cared for. Her greatest pride and joy were her two daughters, Nyasia Main and Myauna "Isabella" Main. They were her world, and she poured all of her strength, wisdom, and love into them.

She is survived by her mother, Kellie Cochran; her sister, Allison Lee Main (Sakura Main); her brothers, Douglas Floyd Main Jr. (Ilizjah Main, Douglas Main III, and twins Immanuel and Nayeli Main); and Kyle William Main (Sydney Main, Emily Main, Justice Main, and Laylai Main). Nichole was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and aunt whose compassion and warmth touched everyone she met.

Those who knew Nichole will remember her for her strength, her laughter, and her endless generosity. She was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need not because she had to, but because that's simply who she was.

Nichole was preceded in death by her father, Douglas "Tiny" Main, and her grandparents, Theodora "Ola" Cochran and Bobby Lee Cochran.

Nichole's love and light will continue to shine through her daughters, her family, and all those who were lucky enough to know her. Though she is gone too soon, her spirit will always remain with us — in every laugh, every memory, and every act of kindness done in her honor.

Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, all at the Sacred Heart Church with Pastor Jackson Henry officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fort Belknap Agency Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
