Obituary

Nathel Fawn LaMere, 44, passed suddenly on November 21, 2024, in Spokane, WA. A wake service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, with a funeral service following at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy, Montana. Kelly Eagleman will be officiating.   Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Fawn was born on May 16, 1980, to Donna Sue Meyers and Melvin LaMere. From the moment she was born, Fawn was a daddy's girl, and that love and connection remained throughout her life. She attended Rocky Boy High School and later earned her GED.

Fawn's life was filled with love and family. She became a mother at a young age, welcoming her first daughter, LaNaya in 1995 and her second daughter Kyra in 1997.  In 2004, she met Jathan, and together they had two children, a daughter Kathryna, born in 2006, and her only son Melvin, born in 2007. Fawn's love for her children and family was evident, and they remained her greatest joy throughout her life.

Fawn was an adventurous spirit. She loved to travel, always eager to experience new places, meet new people, and collect memories along the way. She was often found with a smile, enjoying the moment, listening to her favorite songs, and embracing life to the fullest.

In 2016, Fawn moved to Billings to care for her mother, and it was there she met the love of her life, Curtis Stanley. The two were inseparable, and they shared a daughter, born in 2019. After Curtis' passing, Fawn moved to Spokane, WA, where she made her home.

Fawn's warmth, sense of humor, and loving nature will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She had a unique way of always telling those she loved exactly what they needed to hear.

Fawn was preceded in death by her parents, Donna Sue Meyers and Melvin LaMere; her brother Harold "Bommie" Watson Jr.; her nephew Elias LaMere; and the love of her life, Curtis Wayne Stanley, Jr.

She is survived by her children, LaNaya (Chase) Muldoon of Aberdeen, SD, Kyra (Jewel) BigKnife of Havre, MT, Kathryna and Melvin Moreno of Missoula, MT, and Katana Stanley of Havre, MT.  Fawn is also survived by her brothers, Ty (Ivy) Watson of Rocky Boy, MT, DJ Watson of Washington, Mathew "Mark" LaForge of Havre, MT, Melvin Writing Bird of Rocky Boy, MT, and Aaron LaMere of Havre, MT.  Fawn is also survived by her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Taylyn, Bentley, and Jameson Muldoon of Aberdeen, SD; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her best friends, Delia Demontiney, Veronica Belgarde, and Luci Short Man.

Fawn's passing leaves a deep hole in the hearts of her family and friends, but her memory and the love she gave will continue to live on in all who knew her.
