Soon after, he began attending Eastern Montana College in Billings, and then moved on to Haskell Indian Junior College in Lawrence, Kansas, where he graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration in May of 1971. He also attended San Fernando State College in Northridge, California for a year and then returned to Haskell Indian Junior College where he received his Certificate in Masonry in May of 1973. Morris has worked as a Chapter I Home School Coordinator, Community Block Grant Administrator, Juvenile Officer, JTPA Coordinator, and most recently as the Procurement and Public Safety Officer for the Chippewa Cree Tribe.
In the early 1970's, Morris met Alexine LaForge and they had a son together, but later separated. He met his lifelong partner, Debbie Normandy, in the late 70's, and they had two daughters together, marrying in 1990. Morris also gained a stepson upon his marriage to Debbie.
Morris was a kind, loving man who enjoyed life to the fullest and opened his home to everyone who walked through the door. He was a lifelong rancher, an active member of the community, and supported the education of youth. He loved to watch his children and grandchildren play sports, and he enjoyed watching rodeos. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and they always kept him on his toes. He was very involved as a school board member for the Rocky Boy High School, a member of the Parent Involvement Committee, a booster club member, and a referee for basketball. Morris loved dancing, and could regularly be found dancing at the VFW and the Eagles Clubs. He was also very traditional, involving himself in numerous traditional ceremonies and was a Sundance Lodge Maker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie St. Pierre; parents, Albert and Margaret St. Pierre, Sr.; brothers Roger St. Pierre, Sr. and Albert "Tumsy" St. Pierre, Jr.; and sisters, Alberta Oliva St. Pierre and Harriet St. Pierre.
