Mitzi J. Genger, 83, passed away due to an aneurysm Wednesday, March 30, 2022.  Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be 2 p.m. April 19. 2022 at St, Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church.

Mitzi was born on December 8, 1938, in La Porte, IN, to John and Patricia (Steuerwald) Quinn. She was raised in Duluth, MN, until the family moved to Havre her sophomore year in high school. In 1957, Mitzi married Charles Genger, and the couple made their home in Have, where they raised their children.

Mitzi was a loving woman who enjoyed crafting, and she loved to organize and host the Christmas Bazaars in her home, She also donated many items over the years to the St. Jude Christmas Bazaar. She liked to read, flower garden, and play cards; and she was a wonderful cook. Date nights with Charles were a high point in her week, and she as a devout Catholic woman faith was very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Penny Lou Fuss and her parents, John and Patricia Quinn.

Mitzi is survived by her husband and soulmate of 65 years, Charles Genger of Havre; daughters, Terry (Ron) Reinowski of Kremlin and Jody Genger of Havre; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shari (Carl) Baltrusch, Jackie Stone, Wendy (Jim) Petesch, and Mike (Leta) Quinn, all of Kalispell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
