Obituary

Michael R. Seaton, 54, passed away due to natural causes at his family's log home on Monday, August 16, 2021.  Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Michael was born on May 29, 1967, in San Pedro, CA, to Thomas Seaton and Harriet St. Pierre.  He was raised in Rocky Boy, returning to California in his late teens, obtaining his GED from San Joaquin Delta College, and later obtained his Associate's degree from Stone Child College.  He married Jodi Murie, and the couple had two children.  For many years, Michael worked as a cowboy and rancher, and later as the janitor at Stone Child College.

Mike loved anything to do with horses and ranching, gambling, and spending time with his grandchildren.  They were the light of his life.  He was a member of the Montana Cattleman's Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jodi Murie; mother, Harriet St. Pierre; grandparents, Albert and Margaret (Demontiney) St. Pierre, Sr., and Alvin and Emma (Many Goats) Seaton; aunt, Alberta St. Pierre; and uncles, Albert St. Pierre, Jr., Roger St. Pierre, Sr., and Morris St. Pierre.

Mike is survived by his father, Thomas (Donna) Seaton of Oakland, CA; adopted mother, Mary Ruth St. Pierre of Rocky Boy; daughters, Gerry (Cameron) Eagleman, Marty Rae (JR) Stiffarm-Rosette, Martina St. Pierre, all of Rocky Boy, Michelle (John) St. Pierre of Havre, Seaunah Seaton of Rocky Boy; sons, Michael (Ambrosia) Seaton and Josh (Adonius) Seaton, all of Rocky Boy, Jonathan (Keturah) Seaton of Havre, and Spencer Seaton of Rocky Boy; 22 grandchildren; sisters, Sherlene, NiiZhonii and Katharina Seaton, all of California; brothers, Larry Denny, Jr. and Mark Denny of Rocky Boy; adopted brother, Arnold St. Pierre of Washington; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
