Michael A. Fredriksen, 47, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at a residence of natural causes. The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Mike's name to the Vascular Birthmark Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice. Mike was born on January 10, 1967, in Havre to Alfred and Loretta (Seidel) Fredriksen. He was raised in Havre, attending school here. Following his school years, he began working as a mechanic, and, over the years, continued to master his mechanical skills in many shops throughout the Havre area. He met and fell in love with Michelle Tomaskie in 1991, and the couple remained together throughout the past 23 years. Mike had three children whom he adored, Bridget, Carrie and Ryan, and he ensured they were raised in Havre. Mike enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, listening to music, playing pool and hanging out at his shop, but he loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. Mike was preceded in death by his father Alfred Fredriksen; his brother Joe Fredriksen; his aunt Olive Dumas; his uncles, Hugh Dumas, and Clifford and Clarence "Shorty" Fredriksen. Mike is survived by the love of his life, Michelle Tomaskie, of Havre; his three children Bridget Cooper, Carrie (Levi Hawley) Tomaskie, and Ryan Fredriksen; his granddaughter Juliann Tomaskie-Hawley; and his mother Loretta Fredriksen.
