Michael Lee Alexander, Jr., "Red Flicker", 20, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, in Great Falls. Wake services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021, and will continue until his funeral service which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Box Elder. Burial will follow in the Old Rocky Boy Agency Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Junior was born on April 1, 2001, in Great Falls to Michael Lee and Dava (Mitchell) Alexander. He was raised in Great Falls and Box Elder, attending school in both locations. For the past couple of years, he has been employed as a laborer, performing landscaping work in Arizona, and in restaurants in Great Falls.
He was a kind young man, always smiling, and always found time to spend with his siblings. Junior enjoyed playing basketball, stargazing, spending time in the mountains, camping, fishing, hunting, and driving around.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorlie Alexander and Vivian "Gayle" Mitchell; great-grandparents, David and Myrna Mitchell, Robert and Delores Alexander, Billy Roseann Saddler, and Theresa Tendoy; and uncles, Merle Tendoy, Devonne Alexander, and Peter "Tuffer" Mitchell.
Junior is survived by his parents, Michael and Dava Alexander, Sr.; siblings, Loren Alexander of Great Falls, Benicio (Kaydeen Healy) Alexander of Anaconda, Trinity (Adam Braaten) Alexander of Helena, and Isaiah Alexander-Mitchell of Great Falls; grandfather, Darrel Tendoy Pocatello, ID; adopted grandmother, Pauline Alexander of Great Falls; special friend, Eboni Dubois of Great Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends, including his special aunt, Brenda St. Pierre.
