Melissa Lynn Johnson-Nagel, 46, passed away due to natural causes at her residence on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, and will continue until her funeral services, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the Morsette Family Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Melissa was born on April 26, 1976, in Havre, to Alvin and Veronica (Morsette) Johnson.  She was raised in Rocky Boy, attending Box Elder schools.  In December of 1994, she married Wilbur Nagel, and the couple had four children.  She attended Stone Child College for a few semesters, and worked around the country preparing people for glamour photo shoots, but for the most part, Melissa remained home caring for her family.

Melissa enjoyed arts and crafts, putting puzzles together, and reading.  She was welcoming to all of her children's friends, and many of them called her "Mom".  Melissa adored her children and grandchildren, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Johnson and Veronica Morsette; sister, Cecelia Johnson; and nephews, Cody Four Colors, Kyle Standing Rock, and Ronnie Stump, Jr.

Melissa is survived by her beloved husband, Wilbur Nagel, Sr. of Rocky Boy; children, Morissa Nagel of Rocky Boy, Margaret (Erick Muniz) Nagel of Havre, and Lucas and Wilbur Nagle, Jr., both of Rocky Boy; sisters, Luanne (Jerry) Four Colors, Althea Chief Sky, Linell (Reese) Gray, Mary (Harold Watson) Morsette, Gina (Ronnie Sr.) Stump, and Jessica Johnson, all of Rocky Boy; brothers, John (Heather) Evans of Saco, and Enos Johnson, Jr. and Ryan (Kim) Johnson, both of Rocky Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
