Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Maxine (Neill) Minor, 91, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 of natural causes at a local care center in Havre. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Conrad with her burial in the Conrad Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to a charity of one's choice. Maxine was born November 7, 1925 to John and Lorene Neill on the family farm in Windham, Montana, the youngest of five children. After finishing High School she moved to Lewistown to work and there she met her husband, Ralph who was stationed in Lewistown with the US Air Corps. They were married July 29, 1945 and welcomed five daughters. They lived in and around Stanford until moving to Conrad in 1963. They purchased an apartment complex and managed that for several years. Maxine developed a love of ceramics during this time and owned her own Ceramic shop, spending many hours teaching it to others in the area. She was especially proud of her dolls and kept many of them with her throughout her life.

After Ralph died in 1996, she moved to Havre to be closer to family and lived there until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, all four of her brothers, her husband Ralph, one daughter; Susan Minor and a grandson Ryan Hollandsworth.

Maxine is survived by her daughters Karen (Fred) Stoltz of Havre; Barbara (Jim) Hollandsworth of Lolo; Ginny (Steve) Marden of Havre; and JoBeth (Bernie) Tesch of Great Falls. 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter.
