Matthew L. Doran, 54, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Thursday, March 18, 2021.  At his request, cremation has taken place and no services will be scheduled.

Matt was born on November 12, 1966, in Corvallis, Oregon, to John and Anna (Buelow) Doran.  He was raised in Philomath, graduating from Philomath High in 1985. Matt lived and worked in the Portland area before leaving Oregon to attend Northern Montana College in Havre in 1992.   Matt worked for Hill County Printing for more than 23 years, retiring in 2017.

Matt met his wife Beth Scofield in 1995.  They have one son, David.

Matt enjoyed hunting, fishing, and telling Beth and David stories of hunting and fishing in his youth.  Matt always had a dog and if you knew him, you have also probably met either Spud or Rosco.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Beth Doran; son, David Doran; sister Dawn (Steve) Boyea; brother John (Dean'na) Doran; and nephews Shane, Aaron, and Justin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Doran.
