Marybelle Passon, 73, passed away due to cancer at her Havre residence on Friday, February 26, 2021.  Cremation has taken place, and graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, in Highland Cemetery.  Marybelle's family has suggested memorial donations be made in her memory to the Friends of Beaver Creek Park, PO Box 2604, Havre, MT  59501, or the charity of the donor's choice.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Marybelle was born on June 8, 1947, in Havre to Frank and Mary (Bowman) Passon.  She was raised in Havre, until 1953, when she entered a home for the disabled in Boulder, MT.  She remained there until 1976, when she entered the Havre Day Activities Center.  There she found more family in her fellow residents and the caring staff.

Marybelle enjoyed bowling, camping, music, Karaoke, and going on drives to the Bear Paws.  She loved participating in Special Olympics, and was a member of People First.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Passon; sister, Demarise Basore; and brother, Peter F. Passon.

Marybelle is survived by her sister, Ursula Pester-Brese of Havre, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends at the Havre Day Activities Center.
