Marvin Lee Turner 64, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 at Northern Montana Hospital after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Cremation has taken place and Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Marvin grew up in a small Montana town near Glasgow; he was raised and attended school in Nashua, MT. He worked for the Nashua school, and eventually came to work for Burlington Northern Santa Fe. For those who knew Marvin, they knew he had a deep love of life. He enjoyed doing many things, even at the limitations his body gave him. He loved his Harley's, fishing, hunting, camping and living life. Marvin loved holidays and family "get togethers" when he had a chance to throw a party in his garage. He loved having everyone together sitting at the tables he would set up, the tables he built for such occasions. He was a builder; he could build anything imaginable with very little material. As long as it served some sort of a purpose and it would put a smile on someone's face he could make it. He loved going to church, being a devoted Christian and expressing his love for everything church stands for. He enjoyed going to the Abundant Life Ministries and watching his dear friend Brian Barrows teach about love and living life to its fullest. Having such a big heart, he made many friends. That's what kept him going; he loved doing what he could for anyone that was in need.

He fought hard with determination and by his strong faith in God during his battle with Parkinson's. No matter what he always had a smile on his face, and always kind words to say.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cheri Turner; his sons, Ryan (Tylyn) Turner and Justin (Tiffany) Turner; his daughter, Kimberly (Jordan) Schend; and his grandchildren, Kahlan, Brandon, Hunter, Tallen, Taicen, Zoey, Halle, and Mylee.

Marvin is preceded in death by his son, Travis Allen Turner; his brother, Walt Turner; his mother, Ruth Turner; and father, Kermit Turner; as well as his father-in-law, John Lee.

Marvin's family has asked for all to remember him by paying it forward, just as he did. Pay for a random meal at dinner, buy someone in need groceries, or pay a power bill for someone you know would deserve it. Marvin was the definition of a giver. He would give the clothes off his back if he knew someone needed them.
