Marvin William Melby "Booba" has joined  his wife Rosie and all his pups on September 6,  2024.  There will be a celebration of life with a pot luck gathering at the Tip It Bar in Havre on Sunday September  29th at 12 which would have been his 81st birthday.  Hope to see you all there.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

He was born to John and Beulah Melby on September 29th,  1943.  He was an excellent Basketball player in his earlier years.  After high school He served 4 years in the Army then  was married to "Sis" Christophersen and they ran  the Waterhole bar in Kremlin, Montana.  He then met his second wife and love of his life Rosie. He was a Roofer and a painter for most of his life. He was a dog lover, and enjoyed his many friends at the Tip It , Shanty and Palace, especially Jupe Compton.

He had 8 siblings and was preceded in death by Raymond,  Millie, Arlen "Squeek" ,  Lois, Charles"Bud",  Francis,   Reatha "Reet", and David "Whitey" Melby.

He and Rosie are survived by Rosie's 3 children,  2 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
