Marlene A. Parisian, 68, passed away due to natural causes at Northern Montana Hospital on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.  Wake services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2023, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the Box Elder Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Marlene was born on April 20, 1954, in Havre to Frank and Violet (Salois) Henry, Sr.  She was raised in Box Elder, graduating from Box Elder High School in 1972.  Marlene worked as a nurse's aid in Big Sandy, and raised her two children.  In January of 1980, she married Eugene  "Kelly" Parisian, and the couple remained in Box Elder, where they raised most of Marlene's grandchildren.

Marlene was a spunky lady who enjoyed baking, cooking, and camping.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and was a well-loved member of the community.  Everyone referred to Marlene as Mom or Auntie.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Henry; parents, Frank and Violet Henry, Sr.; and brothers, Percy, Bud, Bill, and Myron Cobell, and Frank Henry, Jr.

Marlene is survived by her husband, Kelly Parisian, of Box Elder; daughters, Cheryl (Scott) Harwood of Havre, Sella Parisian of California, and Alazay Parisian of Box Elder; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Gaye (Lloyd) Sunchild and Becky Nash, all of Great Falls, and Donna "Sis" (John) Raining Bird of Box Elder; brothers, Ronnie Joe (Kathy) and Tim Henry, all of Box Elder; aunt, Terry Salois of Great Falls; uncle, John (Christine) Salois of Stevensville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
