Marlene Kay (Wilson) Malone, 64, passed away peacefully in Spokane WA on September 24, 2022, with her family by her side. Her graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Highland Cemetery in Havre, Montana. Her funeral service was held Thursday, September 29, 2022, in Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Marlene's honor may be made to Pet Savers in Spokane or your local animal shelter. Marlene was born in Havre, Montana on December 7, 1957, to Andrew and Mary M. Wilson one hour after her twin sister, Darlene. Marlene attended school in Havre, graduating in 1976 from Havre High School.
Marlene married the love of her life, Michael Malone on August 15, 1981. They recently celebrated their 41 st anniversary. They have made their home in Spokane for over 30 years.
Marlene loved every animal and any little stray that found their way to her for love and care. She loved watching her nieces Emily, Jenna, and Jenny grow up and tried to attend as many school and sporting events as possible, even when she was sick. Marlene was a wonderful homemaker, hostess, and cook. She loved making holiday dinners for her family and friends.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; her half-sister, Maxine Catt and Mae Giesick; and great nephew, Bobby Vernon.
Surviving her are her husband, Mike; twin sister, Darlene (John) Sharp of Spokane, WA; nieces, Emily Sharp (Brandon Strojek) of Phoenix, AZ, Jenna Sharp and Jenny Sharp of Spokane WA; brothers-in-law, Ned (Delonna) Malone and Bob Malone of Havre, MT; sister-in-law Barb Jones of Los Angeles, CA; and many close friends. AND not to forget her little dog Teddy, who she loved so much!
