Marilyn was born on July 14, 1962, in Fort Belknap to Louis Doney and Carol Chief Goes Out. She was raised in Rocky Boy by her grandmother, attending school there. She obtained her GED ahead of her graduating class. Marilyn had a love for learning, and she attended Northern Montana College, the College of Great Falls, and Renton Technical College and Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, WA. She worked in medical billing in Great Falls, Missoula, and Seattle, WA. Over the years, she took in many children, and they still call her Mom.
Marilyn was a reserved woman who loved shopping and caring for children. She was an avid reader, especially of mysteries, and she enjoyed scary movies. She absolutely adored her family, particularly her grandchildren, and she loved to tease and laugh with them.
She was preceded in death by two heavenly babies; her parents, Louis Doney and Carol Chief Goes Out; and grandmother, Mary Chief Goes Out.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Karalee (Dan Davis) Chief Goes Out, Sasha Chief Goes Out, and Kyle Eagleman, all of Missoula, Santana Dubois of Billings, and RJ Chief Goes Out of Washington; seven grandchildren, Jayden, Kayden, Colton, Jazlyn, Jaylee, Brandon "Buster", and Wyatt; many siblings, the most immediate of whom are Cam, Steve, Warren, Anna, and Rose Chief Goes Out; long-time friend, Harlan Eagleman of Rocky Boy; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
