On June 26, 2023, Marcia Ann Cichosz Morsette began her peaceful journey.  Her wake will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

She was born December 18, 1960 to Vernon and Glorraine Stiffarm Cichosz, into a family of seven children of the Aaniiih/GrosVentre  and of polish ancestry.

In high school she met her future and only husband Larry J. Morsette Jr.  Julie, L.J., and Megan were born into this world from this union. Marcia and her family had lived in many different cities. Later the two divorced but their friendship remained intact until her death.

Marcia attended college briefly at Northern Montana College and held various jobs sharing her bright spirit and her contagious laughter.  With her welcoming spirit, she met several people along the way who became her friends.

Marcia is survived by her daughter Julie, of Billings; her grandchildren, Ka'is, Tai'cen, Isiaih Morsette, and Kaleisa and Milana Sutherland; her former husband and good friend, Larry Morsette Jr.; and her many brothers and sisters as well as her extended family and friends.

Marcia was preceded in death by her son L.J., daughter Megan, grandson Gavin, sister Kay, and her parents Vernon and Glorraine.
