Obituary

Lorraine Loretta "Sweedo" Hall Born to Thomas Hall, Sr. and Mary (LaFromboise) Hall on February 19, 1934, in Browning, MT. Lorraine passed peacefully from this life with her family at her side from natural causes in Havre, MT on June 23, 2014. She was a longtime resident of Dupuyer, MT until her recent move to Havre. Visitation will begin 2 P.M. Wednesday, June 25th at the Pondera Funeral Home in Conrad with Rosary to begin at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday, June 26th, 2014 at The Dupuyer Community Center in Dupuyer, MT with Father Ed Kohler presiding. Burial will follow at the Dupuyer Cemetery. Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements and condolences may be left at www.hollandbonine.com. She is survived by brother Wallace Hall of Birch Creek; sisters: Eloise England of Birch Creek; Janice Boggs of Heart Butte; Florene Tiny' Thomas of Bynum and Eva (Leonard) Iron Pipe of Little Badger. Also survived by sons: Howard Wall of Cut Bank , MT and Pat Wall of Havre; daughters: Karen (Doug) Dahl of Havre and Holly (Phil) Walker of Kapaa, HI; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces who she was especially close to as well as friends she considered extended family. She was preceded in death by parents Mary and Tom Hall Sr. ; Brothers: Tom Hall Jr. and infant Lee Patrick Hall; Sisters: Marlene Hall and Phyllis Buell and beloved daughter Marie Toots' Wall. Sweedo retired from Dupuyer School after 25 years as cook. She enjoyed playing pinochle, quilting and visiting family and friends. You could say she had a keen sense for bringing a meal at just the right time or homemade baked goods for any special occasion. For as long as her health would allow she was actively involved with Cowboys for Life Cancer Ride.
