Lenny was born on March 12, 1945, in Havre to Joseph and Clara (Gardipee) Parisian. He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending Box Elder Schools. In 1963, he married Leota Sangrey, and the couple moved to California where they lived for five years before divorcing. There, he apprenticed in the electrical and refrigeration industries, working mostly in Hollywood. His family later joked that he rubbed elbows with the "rich and famous". After the divorce, Lenny returned to Rocky Boy where he continued his apprenticeships, and met Judy Winchell, with whom he stayed for many years. He later began working as a farm hand for Dry Fork Farms and was soon promoted to farm manager until his retirement in the late '80s. Soon after, he met Karen Komeotis, and the couple married several years later, divorcing sometime in the past 10 years.
Lenny was a somewhat reserved, but happy man with a truly kind soul. He enjoyed ice fishing, camping, hunting, and playing cards (especially poker and pinochle) and gambling. When he was younger, he loved trapping with his older brother Paul. Westerns were his favorite shows, and watching football was a favorite pastime as well, especially his beloved Seattle Seahawks. Lenny liked to play with remote control helicopters when he was younger, but he loved to spend time with his grandchildren, playing with them.
He was preceded in death by his children, Lisa Kay (Parisian) Bender and Les Paul Parisian; parents, Joseph and Clara Parisian; and siblings, Paul Parisian, Margaret Swan, Edward Parisian, Sr., Lena Stamper, Stella Flannigan, Olive Rosette, Thomas "Zeke" Parisian, and Mary "Bibbs" Douglas.
Lenny is survived by his children, Leonard "Allen" Parisian of Box Elder, Cindy (Jeremiah Swanson) Winchell of Great Falls, and Peter D. Azure of Box Elder; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister Bernadette Lords of Albuquerque, NM,; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
