Obituary

Larry Ray Stanley, 68, passed away due to complications from COVID 19 on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Northern Montana Hospital.  Wake services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church with Sam Vernon Windy Boy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rocky Boy Cemetery.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Larry was born on March 1, 1959, in Fort Belknap to Joseph and Josephine (Swan) Stanley.  He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending school there.  Following his school years, Larry worked with his dad and brother for many years.  In his 50's, he began working for Rocky Boy Utilities.

Larry enjoyed fishing, playing the machines, taking drives, and working on his vehicles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Stanley; and his siblings, Teresa Stanley, JoAnn DeArce, Linda Stanley, Aldin Stanley, Sr., and Clifford Stanley, Sr.

Larry is survived by his sons, Brandon Stanley of Flathead and Steven Raining Bird of Billings; sister, Leota Standing Bear of Havre; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
