Kristin Chiefstick, 31, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at her Oklahoma residence of natural causes. Wake services will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, and will continue until her funeral, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015, also at Our Saviour's Lutheran. Kristin was born on February 22, 1982, in Havre, to Noble Moosomin and Marina Chiefstick. She was raised in Havre, attending school there. Following her school years, Kristin moved to Oklahoma and married the love of her life, Steven Gates. The couple remained in Oklahoma for the past 15 years, where Kristin cared for her husband and her home. Kristin enjoyed beadwork, arts & crafts, working puzzles, reading, and was an avid Facebooker. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Anthony Arthur Leslie Young Gates; her father Noble Moosomin; her brother Leslie Lodgepole, Jr.; and her sister Dina (Chiefstick) Miller. Kristin is survived by her husband Steven Gates of Wynona, OK; her mother Marina Chiefstick of Island Park, ID; her brother Don Buckman of Bismarck, ND; her sisters Jessica Chiefstick of Newtown, ND, and Dawn Buckman of Minot, ND; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
