Kenneth A. "Kenny Parker, 75, passed away due to natural causes at Benefis Healthcare on Thursday, May 22, 2025, with his family by his side. Wake services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2025, and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the New Rocky Boy Cemetery. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Kenny was born in a log cabin to Agnes Alexander Walking Child and Robert Parker Sr., on March 21, 1950, at Parker School at Rocky Boy, Montana. In his early years, Kenny attended the boarding schools at Rocky Boy and later attended Box Elder High School where he became one of the best basketball and football players. Kenny later attended Northern Montana College.
Kenny met and married Phyllis Gopher and they lived at Rocky Boy, and he became a father to four beautiful children: Rebekah, Jaclyn, Alan and Stacy. During that time Ken was a cattle rancher, and an electrician. Ken and his family moved to Great Falls and resided there for 20 years and briefly moved to California for 5 years and eventually moved back to Rocky Boy. Ken's pride and joy was becoming a grandfather to Jasmine, Sergio, Vanessa, Isaac, Ryan and Carmen.
Ken was an adventurous man and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and meeting different people from all walks of life.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents Agnes and Robert Parker, Sr.; grandmother, Josephine Walking Child; Elizabeth and John Parker; a grandfather, Pat Nomee; and son, Alan K. Parker.
Ken is survived by his wife Phyllis for 53 years; children, Rebekah (Ric) Trevino of San Antonio, Texas, Jaclyn and Jaime Aviles of Rancho Cucamonga, California, and Stacy Tan of Big Sandy, Montana; adopted mother, Ethel Parker of Rocky Boy; and adopted sons, Victor, Lance, Leonard, Matthew, Lawrence and Eric Brockie; siblings, Edmund (LaVerne) Parker, Robert (Janice) Parker, Jr., Renee (Mike) Poolaw, Cecelia (Bing) Ahenakew, and Martin Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
