Obituary

Kenneth Vincent Alexander, 68, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home in Box Elder of natural causes. His wake service will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday June 4th at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church with his Traditional Native American Funeral 11 a.m. Friday June 5th. His burial will follow at the Rocky Boy Veteran's Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. You may sign Kenneth's online guest book and share memories at www.hollandbonine.com. Kenneth was born June 3, 1946 in Rocky Boy to Fred Windy Boy Alexander and Mary Small. He was raised and educated in Rocky Boy attending Haystack and Parker Schools. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1967. He later obtained his GED and attended two years of college in Hobbema, Alberta Canada. He married Virginia Saskatchewan and raised their family in Canada. Kenneth worked as a janitor at various locations throughout the years. He enjoyed watching television, visiting with friends and family and telling stories. He was a member of the Rocky Boy Veteran's American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents his wife Virginia in 2003; sisters: Barbara Alexander, Mary Rose Denny, and Ila M. Denny. His brothers, Frederick, Alan, Orin, Curtis, and Milton Alexander. His Grandparents: Sitting Earth Watson, Joe Small, Sr. ; Windy Boy and Standing on Cloud. Kenneth is survived by his daughters: Kendra Alexander of Hobbema, Alberta Canada and Terilynn Alexander of the Flathead Reservation; his son Lonnie Oldpan of Hobbema. Two sisters: Elvira Daychild and Karen Alexander of Rocky Boy and one brother Sherman Alexander of Hobbema, Alberta Canada. Numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
